The boys had their last day of term on Friday with the highlight of them performing in a play about the changes of season. I had to load this on you tube so click on the link below - Jack is a raindrop (he's the first one you see who does his little turn to the left of the tree. Tom is a lamb, he's the first lamb who skips (long sleeve white top on). We were so proud!

I know it's been too long!
We've been really busy with birthday parties and life in general and our camera was playing up so apologies for being so long without an update.

Our big six year old's are still growing like weeds and are looking foward to the school holiday's coming up after this week. This weekend we had a visit to the fire station with their school friends as one of the dad's is a fireman (easy girls!). You will notice in this photo that no matter how many times you tell Thomas which way around the peace sign is he always gets it wrong!

We are really glad the weather is now officially more like spring and we had our first icecream of the season and a run on the beach to celebrate this weekend. Kaz you'll be pleased to know we choose your wedding venue to do this - it was lovely sitting in the sun and we thought of you.

Unfotunately we didn't take a single photo of our joint 40th party but it was absolutely brilliant and we had a fab time, I did put together a slide show which I will try to upload when I work out how to do it.

Cute storis for the week:
Adrian was telling the boys that it makes him happy to be able to have conversations with boys. Thomas replied "I don't like to have conversations" and Adrian said "oh that's a shame" and Tom replied "not really I was just trying to keep the conversation going cos I know it makes you happy"......6 year old logic.
I was sitting watching the All Blacks play Australia recently (we won of course) and the boys were sitting either side of me and we were really enjoying the game, shouting at the TV and I was thinking how lovely it was that they were old enough to really enjoy the game with me and understand the rules and how brilliant the game is when Jack turned to me and said "this would be really good if Alvin and Chipmunks were playing"......... ahhh no!

Right promise I'll load more next week so no more slacking - love to you all X
