Happy 40th Adrian

A week or so late but happy birthday to a lovely husband and daddy. We had a lovely day celebrating Adrian's birthday with the boys and some friends and he even got two visits to the pub that day.

Well winter is certainly here and when it's been raining non stop for weeks the best thing to do with little boys is get dressed and get out in it - gumboots rock!

Also, I've been promising it, here's a video of our nearly finished kitchen.......

Cute stories for the week:

We were watching a documentary about Dr Who this week and it had a long clip at the end of exciting action involving the Dr's companions and at the end Dr Who came out of the tardis looking quizical. Tom said "oh no, Dr Who missed all those things cos he was in the toilet"

Speaking of toilets we recently gave the boys some enmpty containers for their craft table at school including some specimen (clean I might add) jars from the Dr's office. When I collected the boys from school the teacher asked to see me (always makes me cringe), she told me that Tom had brought a specimen jar to school and I reassured her it wasn't used. "Oh it was" she said, "Tom decided to fill it with his wees so the class could study it" .......going to grow up to be either a doctor or just gross!

Sadly we also said a sad farewell to our very special friend Sheena who died earlier this week. She was a very special lady has looked after the boys from tiny babies and it was very sudden and sad- the boys and us will miss her.
