HAPPY EASTER!!!!

We don't like chocolate much - NOT!!! Lots of excitement this morning with the Easter Bunny's visit to our garden and the easter egg hunt. The boys were really thrilled with the whole idea and really got into the swing of it all!
We've had a wonderful easter holiday so far this year. Adrian has finished the festival at last so we'll all back on board and have had some great time hanging out together again. After our chocolate episode earlier today we had a great picnic at the botanic gardens with lots of friends and spent the day in the hot sun having a wonderful time watching all the children having a blast in the last of the summer sunshine climbing trees and playing in the play ground.
We also had one of the boys friend's birthday parties at Lindale farm on Saturday, it was a lovely day out and the boys had a good time being farmers with their mates, those poor animals must have been traumatised by that lot!! Jack looks like he's about to either cause some serious trouble or rescue someone with his mate Martin below!

We're also very pleased that we managed to sell our big truck this week and brought a lovely new Ford Mondeo today....ooooh it's nice and red and shiney isn't it!!

Cute stories for the week revolve mainly around bad language:
The boys creche teachers told us this week that one of the teachers dropped something on the floor and said "oh shoot!", aparently Jack looked at her like she was a bit slow and said "no Theresa - it's not shoot it's SHIT!".... must have got that from Daddy I'm sure.
They also told the teachers this week that Tom was really a "shark boy" (he's facinated with sharks at the moment), the teacher said "well that must have been uncomfortable for mummy when you were in her tummy", "Yes said Tom, I was a barstard shark"...... uummm think he meant barsking!!!

Still warm enough for a day at the beach but not for long!

Yeah they definately take after their dad!!!!

It's been a week of mixed weather and lots of visitors and extra children running around our house this week.

Saturday the boys had swimming lessons before they had a very special visitor Elyse, their friend from Creche who came for the afternoon. They spent hours playing dress ups and shops before we made and decorated cup cakes for afternoon tea. Elyse stayed for movie night and it was cute the three of them with their popcorn chatting to each other about the movie and looking so grown up.

Sunday was another hot sunny day and we had some friends with their children all arrive for a coffee. The backyard was overun with small boys and 1 girl going crazy chasing each other and having a great time. This summer has been so brilliant and we're really not looking forward to the weather changing and not having these lovely days in the garden. Sunday night I got to go to the show Adrian's been working on "Black Watch" which was absolutely brilliant, if it tours near anyone you must see it.

At Christmas time the boys and I planted sun flower seeds that are great for kids as they grow so fast that they got really excited checking them every day and watering them carefully. They all dutifully flowered this week and they were so excited and pleased with their handiwork.

Not so cute story for the week: Tom is starting his tagging career early, after finding a felt pen decided to use it on the lounge carpet, problem was he did 3 huge "T's" practicing writing his name, bit of a give away when you graffiti your own name.....

Have a great week everyone X
