It's birthday party season at the moment with 4 parties over 2 weekends so it's been sugar central lately. The boys are getting very excited about their own birthday coming up now but it's hard to explain they have to wait for months!!

We had a real treat last weekend when our friends let us look after the lovely Jake who is 10 months old for the whole night. The boys absolutely loved having him here especially Jack who doted on him constantly. Ade and I had a lovely time with him - no answering back just smiling nicely and being gorgeous. It did make me clucky getting all the boys old baby blankets and cot out though!

We also had Mother's day this month which was lovely, the boys let me sleep in for an hour before giving me my breakfast in bed. They told me that my present was a surprise and they weren't going to tell me that it was a necklace...hehe guess what it was!!

We also had my uncle Peter here this weekend from Invercargil which has been great but unfortuatnely I've managed to get a horrible flu so I haven't been the best hostess this week! Adrian's been really busy over the last few weeks and was very excited when his van came back from the mechanic - I'll post some pictures once it's been signwritten.

Cute story for the week - I asked Tom what he wanted for his birthday and he thought really hard and then said, "I'd like a small cloud"....not sure where I'd buy one of those!
