BULA !!!!
For those of you who don't know, Adrian and I had our first child free holiday since the boys were born last week in fabulously wonderrully, relaxing Fiji. This trip was even better because I won it so we didn't even have the stress of paying at the end to worry about - let me tell you all about it...............
After saying goodbye to the boys (they were fine it was mummy that was sad) we headed off to Nadi arriving in the evening to hot, hot, hotness. We then drove through the pitch black for two hours stopping only for the wild horses (I kid you not) and people who randomly appeared in the road along the way, it’s a spooky way to drive when there are no street lights at all!
We arrived at midnight and had a quick swim in the pool and the lovely staff had left us some ice-cold fiji beers and a sandwich but we couldn’t see much that night except the frogs and massive bats flying around.

Next morning we discovered how amazingly, gorgeously lovely this place was – it’s a boutique resort so only 10 units, a brilliant swimming pool, fabulous restaurant and the beach is right on the other side of the pool.
Our days went pretty much like this:
Swim, breakfast, snorkel, nod off reading a book in the shade, swim, beer, lunch, beer, nap, kayak, swim, nap, shower, beer, dinner, sleep……and so on for 6 glorious days.
We were also lucky to meet this lovely bunch of people – you know who you are and you know you were cool…… Lynne, how did you manage to avoid all our photos! We had a lot of great laughs and drinks with you guys and look forward to seeing you in Vegas 2010. PS - thanks for the coconut Margaret X
The boys meantime were having a ball not missing mummy and daddy in the slightest. They stayed with their friend Aeneas for the week and then the lovely Louise took them for a great time in the country where they had a wonderful time. Thanks so much for looking after them so nicely Maria and Louise – you made two people more happy than you will ever know!!
