Another cold wintery week this week and a really busy weekend. Friday we had a lovely visit from our friend Tis and baby Fynn, the boys loved finding him toys and I managed to get rid of 3 bags of baby clothes from the garage which makes Adrian happy. Adrian and I managed a night out on Friday night but we were very sensible and got a bus home at 10:00pm so I was very proud of us!

Saturday morning I had a friends baby shower in Eastbourne so Adrian took the boys off on an adventure for the day getting the bus into town to the "City and Sea" museum and a good wander around town (including going up and down the glass elevator pretending to be spacemen and making daddy feel sick).

Sunday morning we had a million jobs around the house before we headed to Uncle Chris and Aunty Sue's for a fabulous roast dinner with apple pie and to admire their gorgeous new car which the boys proceeded to put a handful of stones on top off...... what goes through kids minds ehhhhh. We headed home in the afternoon for a final visit from Olga who is heading home to Peru this week. It was very sad to say goodbye but great for her to see her family again after so long away, farewell and lots of love to you and your family Olga, see you in Peru next time.

Cute story for the week: The boys are getting very excited about their birthday coming up and we are planning their cakes and invitations. When we were putting the boys to bed tonight Jack suddenly asked "Mummy can you ring Father Christmas?", "Why" I asked, "to see if he can come to my birthday"....... aahhhh if only.

Jack also told a great joke today, we were talking about the noises different animals make and Jack said what goes "sssnnnnnnooorr (snoring noise), wooooossh?", "what" we asked, "a sleeping whale!"....I thought that was really funny! (the kind of joke Micky J and Adrian would make up and laugh over!)

With all the cold weather we've been having indoor picnics this week and pretending to be outside, this pic is at the seaside complete with sandcastles, whales and seagulls - can't you see them!
Thinking about you Grandad Frank and hope you feel better soon, sending all our love XXXXXXXX
