Big 6 year olds now!

Birthday excitement followed by skiing holiday excitement - it's all too much........

Firstly we celebrated the boys 6th birthday last week. It was a much anticipated affair. They decided on a night party so we hired out their school hall for games, fish and chips and a movie (thanks to Daddy and his technical ability). It was 16 children so we were very exhausted that night. Cakes this year were a car jumping over a river for Tom and star wars light saber's for Jack.


After present opening the next morning we headed off to Kuratau near Taupo for a holiday and skiing with the Ware family. It was the most gorgeous weather the whole time we were there and it was just wonderful to see Richard, Nicki, Charlie and Robert. They put on a special brithday tea for the boys when we arrived and then the next morning we hit the slopes (well Adrian and I hit them a lot - ouch!). The boys had a lesson and then were feeling very confident (video below). They also had a ball on the sledges with Charlie and Robert, it was a brilliant day.

The boys and I also had a lovely soak in the hot pools - bliss!

The boys had a wonderful time with Charlie and Robert - they haven't stopped talking about them ever since.
