Another busy week for the Sealy-O’Donnell clan. After our lovely long weekend Jack managed to get another dose of Bronchiolitis and this dose was particularly bad. We had to take him up to the hospital in the middle of the night and once he deteriorated further we gave in to giving him the steroids to make him better quickly. He’s now picked up again and managed to go back to Crèche on Friday but it meant a week of Adrian and I alternating days off to take care of him. The boys do miss each other a lot when one is sick and it was nice to have Jack back to normal so he could play with Tom again this weekend. We took the boys swimming yesterday which they love and it was such a nice day we played in the park afterwards until we were all exhausted.

Thomas had a great week with his talking, he made his mother very happy when he came home with the best word you can say to a mummy – he looked up at me and said “gorgeous”. Apparently he’s been wooing all the teachers at Crèche with that one! He has also managed to chip his front tooth (picture right) during his usual boisterous activities (I’m sure it won’t be the last).

Adrian has had a calmer week this week and has been working on the opening of the ballet (Nutcracker). I am getting ready to change over to my new job and moving offices in the next few weeks so it’ll be pretty busy for a while. We’re still trying to get some painting done on the house and have managed a second coat on one side and the front door so it’s getting there very slowly.

Glad both boys are well again and able to go swimming. Tom certainly choose the right word for his lovely mum, as we all know you are, georgeous. I remember Elise saying that to me and you can imagine, I melted.
Gosh it must be nearly Christmas if Adrian is working on Tchaikovsky again. In a few years time you will be taking the boys to see the Nutcracker for themselves. I can still remember my first outing and the wonder of that ballet. Loving the photos but wishing for more than a glimpse of mum and dad. love Ben xx
